Born in rural northern Michigan, singer-songwriter Josh Schicker began crafting songs with friends during the rise of alternative and grunge rock genres of the early 1990s. Attending Hope College in Holland, MI proved formative through studying religion and history and writing songs with fellow students. After graduation, Schicker parted ways with bandmates from Paisley dAve and The Episode to explore a solo career. Since 2000, Schicker has released a number of independent albums and has toured nationally in support of these efforts. In 2005, Schicker had the fortune of working with Grammy-winning engineer/producer, Mitch Dane at Sputnik Studios in Nashville, TN. The result was a full-length album titled Moonlighting which was re-released in 2007 as a bonus track album. The additional track, "Good Mothers, Don't Leave!" was mentioned by title in NYT Best-Seller, Lisa McMann's young adult novel, Gone. Several other tracks have been featured on compilations since its release including MPress Records' New Arrivals Vol. 4 along with Seth Glier and Rachael Sage. The latest release from Josh Schicker is a 7-song EP, Faith, the Poor and Politics, recorded in Michigan shortly before he and his wife relocated to Atlanta, GA. The EP was the subject of a post on the blog of Sojourners Magazine in the fall of 2012. Schicker made use of the popular crowd-funding platform, Indiegogo, to fund the duplication and distribution of Faith, the Poor and Politics.

A simple summer vacation trip to Pawley's Island Beach in 2002 changed Rollie's life by inspiring him to pick up his first guitar. After quickly mastering the guitar, he began to write songs. It wasn't until 2005, however, that Rollie played his first show. Later that year he formed a band with a few high school friends and also performed a solo act under the name "I Am Only Your Side Effect". He became known simply as "Rollie" during the summer of 2010 and now performs exclusively as a solo act. "Through the good and bad times, my music travels on the roller coaster that is life," says Rollie. "I write songs as they hit me; how I feel at a particular time--its all about my mood. Anything that influences my life will become a song...or two...or three." Rollie, who writes and performs his own music, is uncommonly prolific and is known for his diverse sound and irresistibly catchy tunes. He is a popular fixture in Atlanta, Ga, where he resides.
